We visited during a rare NC snow storm, so we did not get to enjoy the outdoors but the property looked wonderful from the window. Nice weather would be an extra treat at this place! We did although enjoy the fireplace at night! Damien’s place was great for us and had everything we needed as well as great small detailing that made it even better! The kitchen is fully stocked including a rice cooker and 5 qt crock pot. The beds are comfy and there are plenty of extra blankets to snuggle up with by the fireside. The Rhododendron are always green and if you listen the birds are always singing. You have an amazing gracious host that is attentive and lets you know that you matter, this is rare.
